Anthony Galluccio Statement

I am writing to request your endorsement of my candidacy for re-election to the State Senate. In just over ten months as the Senator representing the Middlesex, Suffolk & Essex district, I have shown my steadfast support for progressive issues, beginning with my vote on the very same day I was sworn in as a Senator to expand the "buffer zone" around reproductive clinics.

Since that vote, I have taken a lead in promoting health-care access, combating foreclosures, and calling for immigration reform. I have also supported and voted in favor of: marriage equality, same-day voter registration, expanded access to preventative dental care services in underserved areas, increased investment in affordable housing and higher education, closing corporate tax loopholes, and increasing health coverage for mental illnesses. Additionally, I was a strong supporter of the historic energy legislation passed this session that will promote energy efficiency and combat global warming. I have demonstrated my commitment to progressive issues and you can continue to count on me to be a champion of progressive policies in the Senate.
