On Thursday, November 16 at 6pm at City Hall, the Planning Board is holding a public hearing on a development proposal for Assembly Square. As folks who've followed this issue know, the quality and scale of development at Assembly Square looms large in Somerville's future, in terms of critically needed commercial property tax revenues, open space along the Mystic River, creation of a new Orange Line T stop, creation of new jobs, management of traffic and pollution and their impact on East Somerville, and unlocking the potential for becoming one of the most important mixed use developments in Massachusetts, if not New England.

Your participation at what is now the only scheduled public hearing by the Planning Board on the PUD Application is critical to ensuring that the City derives the maximum benefit possible from the development of Assembly Square.
